Centre D'Artistes Vaste Et Vague

Founded in 1990, the Centre D'Artistes Vaste Et Vague is a place for research and experimentation in contemporary art. It offers research and creation residencies as well as various methods of dissemination: intra- or extra-mural productions and exhibitions, events, digital platforms and publications. The Center also pilots the three-year Mawita’jig indigenous art and vision project, which aims to bring together indigenous and non-indigenous communities in the territory of the MRC d’Avignon. It supports research, experimentation, production and creation in contemporary arts in Gaspésie.
