The Canadian Mineral Industry Education Foundation has been providing scholarships since 1964 to undergraduate students with a strong interest in a career in the mining industry. The organization currently supports approximately 170 students at universities across Canada. The scholarships are available to students enrolled in a geology, mining or metallurgy program at a Canadian university, or in any other discipline related to the mining industry.
