Association Quebecoise Pour Le Loisir Des Personnes Handicapees

The AQLPH is an organization that brings together, consults, represents and equips key players from different regions of Quebec working on accessibility to leisure activities for people with disabilities by positioning itself as a leader and facilitator. Their mission is to promote accessibility to leisure for people with disabilities by collaborating with various Quebec organizations and passing the baton to each person. Their objectives are to support IRLPHs in the development of leisure for people with disabilities, to contribute to the development and transfer of knowledge and practices promoting accessibility to leisure, to represent the leisure needs and interests of people with disabilities to public and private bodies, and to raise awareness among the general public of the importance of accessibility to leisure activities for people with disabilities.
