Maison Anita Lebel
Maison Anita-Lebel is a second-stage shelter for women and children who are victims of post-separation domestic violence. We offer individual and group services for women and children. We provide safe shelters so that women and children can rebuild their lives after experiencing violence.
The impact of your donation
All donations received are transferred to our Women's Emergency Fund. This fund allows us to help women who live in our organization in the event of financial difficulty (groceries, clothing, dishes, bedding, etc.) but particularly for their move. Indeed, when they leave our resource, the costs related to moving are significant (approximately $1,500). Domestic violence has isolated women, alienated those around them, and they find themselves alone to move furniture and personal belongings.
