Centre De Mise En Valeur Des Opérations Dignité

The <span translate="no">Center for the Promotion of Dignity Operations</span> is a center of interpretation and collective memory which presents the history of rural communities who rose up to put an end to expropriations and closures villages in the 1970s. The center aims to stimulate pride in rural communities and participation in resource development. It offers a multimedia show, an exhibition, a visit to the church where the biggest popular uprising in the East took place and the Gilles Roy Center for Archives and Research on Rurality.
