ABOVAS is a non-profit organization that provides voluntary transportation support for medical and social appointments to residents in vulnerable situations on the West Island of Montreal. Their mission is to facilitate meaningful roles for their volunteers, while supporting positive outcomes for their clients. ABOVAS volunteers are described as friendly, good drivers, patient, polite, pleasant, accommodating, warm, charming, attentive, considerate, punctual, courteous, calm, good-natured, respectful and kind.
