The Association Des Sourds De L'Estrie Inc. (ASE) was founded in the early 1930s to break the isolation of members, promote the rights of the Deaf, raise awareness population and facilitate the integration of the Deaf into the Estrie community. The ASE has approximately 100 members, including active members, who are Deaf and support members.
