Aidants Unis Pour Recreer Ensemble Des Soutiens

The AUPRES Group is a non-profit organization that offers a support service to break the social isolation of adults experiencing mental health problems. Peer helpers or companions, who have themselves experienced a mental health difficulty, volunteer their services to accompany these people in social and recreational activities. For 22 years, AUPRES has supported more than 1,199 people in 2015-2016. The organization is funded by the Outaouais Integrated Health and Social Services Agency and fundraising campaigns.
