Centre D'Aide Aux Victimes D'Actes Criminels Centre-Du-Québec

CAVACs provide front-line services to victims of a crime, their loved ones and witnesses. Their mission is to promote the establishment and maintenance of assistance centers for victims of crime throughout Quebec. The CAVACs work in collaboration with stakeholders from the legal sector, the health and social services network and community organizations. They intervene with victims while respecting their needs and at their own pace, relying on their ability to manage their own lives and make decisions that concern them.
