Bhawani Anantaraman Foundation

The BAF is a Canadian charitable organization managed by a board of directors. It has financed and actively participated in the implementation of adapted programs since 1996. The foundation is committed to encouraging musical talents among young performers by offering scholarships in the strings category (violin, viola and cello). She also established a life skills program for youth in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Welfare in Kerala, India. In 1999, BAF opened Bhawani Memorial School (BMS) in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu, India, to provide quality education to all children, regardless of their financial status.
