Amitié Gatineau-Monde

Amitié Gatineau-Monde is an organization that organizes short-term (2 to 4 weeks) introductory international cooperation projects for young people and adults. The projects are made up of volunteer work interspersed with outings aimed at appreciating the natural and cultural riches of the visited country. The organization's mission is to raise awareness among young people and adults about the reality of communities in need and to promote solidarity between Canadians and the host community. The objectives of the organization are to share the way of life as well as the values and customs of the host community, to raise awareness among young people and adults about the reality of developing countries, to raise funds in order to support local organizations and allow young Canadians and their parents to share an enriching life experience.
