The impact of your donation
Over the decades, groundbreaking research has driven remarkable progress, significantly improving survival rates for individuals affected by cancer. Today, the adjusted net survival rate for all cancers combined stands at an impressive 64% at five years and 58% at ten years, highlighting the tangible impact of scientific innovation. Donations to cancer research have played a pivotal role in this progress. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Cancer Research Society has doubled the number of research projects it supports—from 70 in 2020 to 158 in 2024—magnifying its impact and accelerating the fight against cancer.
