CALACS Chaudière-Appalaches is a resource specializing in helping victims of sexual assault and their loved ones. Founded in 1991, the organization offers help, support and accompaniment services, as well as information and awareness raising to the population. CALACS Chaudière-Appalaches also plays a role in defending and promoting the rights of victims of sexual assault. The center offers individualized assistance, psychosocial care, group monitoring and violence prevention and intervention services for adolescents at risk of further victimization.
