Association D'Études Canadiennes/Association For Canadian Studies

The Association for Canadian Studies (ACS) was established in 1973 to support and promote the academic field of Canadian studies as well as to initiate activities and projects associated with a broad spectrum of Canadian studies. Since then, the ACS has expanded its research capacity to examine Canadians' multiple identities, their sense of belonging, their support for linguistic duality, and their views on various aspects of diversity, equality and inclusion. The ACS has become one of the most referenced organizations in the media across the country through the regular release of data and analysis from this research.
